What is the FUE Technique?

Eyebrow, hair and beard transplantation is performed with the FUE Technique, also known as Follicular Unit Extraction. Today, FUE Technique is the most commonly used method. Since the FUE technique is not a surgical operation, it is preferred more by the patients. FUE Technique has many features. These features can be listed as follows:

In the area where the grafts will be extracted, only the follicle is extracted one by one without removing any tissue or damaging the tissues.
There is no incision or suturing in the grafted area for hair, beard or eyebrows. In the area where the follicles are extracted, contusions with a diameter of much smaller than 06-07 mm may occur, but these contusions recover in a few days. They heal quickly without leaving a scar.
Grafts taken from the nape area with this technique are not only used in hair transplantation. They can also be easily used in eyebrow, mustache and beard transplantation processes.
On average, the condition of the donor area and the number of grafts to be transplanted are checked in one session. Depending on this, between 4,000 and 6,000 grafts can be extracted.
In addition, each graft has an average of 1-3 hairs.
It is possible to transplant 50 – 60 hair, beard or eyebrow follicles per square centimeter depending on the number of grafts to be obtained during the procedure and the opening in the area.
